Insurance
We recognize the needs of employees for
financial protection in the event of illness or injuries which result in
medical expense and loss of income. Providing adequate, cost-effective
medical, dental, disability, and life insurance protection is a concern
of the firm. The firm has selected several plans, including a High
Deductible Health Plan, designed to meet the employees’ needs. To keep
the employee’s cost to a minimum, the firm financially subsidizes health
insurance for all full time employees of the firm by paying half of the
employee only premium. Certain coverage is offered at no cost to the
employee. Coverage of dependents of employees is also available at the
expense of the employee requesting coverage. Employees who work
full time accrue 15-25 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) annually based on the
employee’s average work day and length of service. PTO can be used for
vacation, sick or personal leave. Under our Retirement
Plan associates and staff may save for retirement through pre-tax salary
contributions to the maximum allowed by law per calendar year. Rollovers
from other retirement plans are permitted. Contributors have 24 hour
access to their retirement account on-line and they direct the
investment of their contributions among the Plan’s investment options.
You must have 12 months continuous service with the Firm before you will
be eligible to participate. All regular full-time employees will observe the following paid holidays. Harvey, Casterline & Vallini, L.L.P. is officially closed on these days:
