HCV participates in “Bear’s for Caring” (Dec 5, 08)  HCV is proud to announce our participation in the donation to Essex Homes for the “Bear’s for Caring” project. Over the month of November, HCV Staff members collected and donated Teddy Bears for this project. “Bear’s for Caring” is a project that donates Teddy Bears to First Responder’s (Police, EMS, Firefighters, etc…) so that they may be able to give a child a teddy bear that is caught in a crisis situation.

HCV participates in Adopt-a-family program (Dec 5, 08)  HCV is pleased to announce our participation in the St. Lawrence Place 2008 Christmas Adopt-a-family program.  

HCV participates in HBA 2008 Wish List (Dec 5, 08)  HCV is proud to announce that we were a participant in Home Builders Association’s “2008 Wish List”. As a participant, we were able to adopt a family for the Christmas Season! 

HCV participates in “Families Helping Families” (Dec 1, 08) HCV is a proud participant in the “Families Helping Families” program. The “Families Helping Families” program is an annual event for WIS-TV and serves communities of the midlands of South Carolina. HCV was able to provide for 3 families, ensuring a happy Christmas morning for all!

HCV sponsors the St. Lawrence Place "Back to School Drive" (Aug 26, 08)  HCV is a proud participant and sponsor in the 2008 St. Lawrence Place “Back to School Supply Drive.”  St. Lawrence Place addresses the challenge of homelessness. They provide a place of transitional housing, but more importantly, an avenue for hope, healing and change for the families who choose to enter our program. The supplies collected benefit the children of these families and help make the school year happy and productive.

HCV goes “Green” (Aug 1, 08)  HCV goes “Green” by delivering closing documents via business card size CDs.  Not only have we moved to CDs we’re now storing all new documents electronically.  It’s our way of getting one more step closer to a greener environment.
