Mr. Casterline received his undergraduate degree magna cum laude in 1985 from Lenoir-Rhyne College, where he was a member of Mu Sigma Epsilon and Phi Beta Kappa Gold Key recipient, and his J.D. in 1994 from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar and admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. Rex practices in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, litigation, business counseling and domestic relations. He is fluent in sign language for the hearing impaired.
